NIGHT MAKES THINGS LOOK BIGGER /// Alone I play with my fingers as I remember clearly your last words. I can bet this will end up in disaster. Instead of growing up I’m getting old. I step inside the subway near the deli. I wonder if this city hates me now. I would like to write the songs of others and go away on tour and shout them out. This routine kills desire, your face kills all my hope but this is the game we’re playing so we gotta know that someday I will feel better, sometime soon I will be strong enough so don’t start to ask me if I love you right or wrong. Night makes things look bigger. It’s all about our fears, I believe. Water swallows skyline’s lights on the river while New York City is blowing up in me.
